One of three co-directors for Dartmouth EMS. The Director of Training (DoT) oversees all squad training by ensuring quality and continuity of all training programs and developing the training curriculum. The DoT heads the Quality Assurance Quality Improvement (QA/QI) committee which oversees all promotions, quality assurance, and disciplinary actions. The DoT also recommends and implements remedial training when necessary, and is the primary contact point for the NREMT. The DoT supervises all Training Directorate programs, and spearheads major trainings. The DoT is also part of the Incident Management Committee (IMC) that manages any disciplinary actions.
