My name is Skylar, and I am a second-year student at Carleton University pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies. I am passionate about fitness, environmental sustainability, and helping others.Currently, I work as a server/bartender at Juluca’s, an Assistant Manager at Anytime Fitness Manotick and an Aquafitness Instructor in various Barrhaven condos.I have a wide range of working experience from operations, lifeguarding, swim instructing, member services, sales, management and more. I am passionate about working towards building my network of skills.My professional journey began at McDonald’s when I was 14, where I gained foundational skills in leadership, prioritization, and customer service. This experience instilled in me a strong work ethic and an enthusiasm for professional growth.My future goals include attending law school to become an environmental lawyer, where I aim to combine my passion for environmental advocacy with legal expertise to drive meaningful change.
