   As a School Social Worker, I provide direct mental health support to students through individual and group counseling services. I work closely with campus administration, counselors, and staff to deliver comprehensive, wraparound support tailored to students’ needs. My responsibilities include conducting suicide risk assessments using the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale and collaborating with campus teams to develop safety plans and participate in Behavior Threat Assessments.I facilitate small group counseling sessions focused on grief, anxiety reduction, family transitions, and preparing students for the transition into junior high. Additionally, I offer guidance and resources to families and staff, and lead presentations for students, staff, and the broader school community.Trained in Multi-Dimensional Grief Therapy, I provide specialized grief counseling and support during times of campus crisis, including staff or student loss.
