The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences brings together a broad mix of academic disciplines, including business, humanities, journalism, law, politics, and social sciences.As Marketing Manager for the college, I:• Undertake market research to generate insights and inform strategic decision-making.• Contribute to the planning and delivery of marketing, communications, and student recruitment activity.• Develop tailored marketing plans and recommendation reports for individual schools and initiatives.• Line manage the college’s marketing, web and media team, overseeing delivery and professional development.• Coordinate multichannel campaigns to drive application generation and applicant conversion.• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, and suppliers to ensure consistent delivery and maximise ROI.• Oversee development of marketing assets, working with internal teams and external suppliers including freelance designers, multimedia producers, creative studios, and print houses.• Act as a key liaison with university-wide marketing teams to align efforts and influence broader strategy.Key achievements:+ Rolled out a work management tool used across teams, improving collaboration and project visibility.+ Co-lead the university’s Brand Campaigns and Student Recruitment sub-group and member of key boards including Brand Implementation, CRM Acquisition, and Flexible Learning.
