About Skye Robinson

I\'m a recent graduate with a double major in Comparative Literature (Spanish and English) and International and Public Affairs. I\'m interested in the intersection between legal activism and personal expression; my recent projects include working with PEN America to protect vulnerable artists in Central America, interning at Archer Gray on independent historical and political biopics, and tutoring international students applying to U.S. universities. The schoolwork I am most proud of includes a paper written with incarcerated writers exploring how prison newspapers change policy inside and out of the carceral system, a research project investigating the failures of the Boston immigration system to provide translation to asylum seekers, and an independent study on the impact of the Managua Trilogy on the current Nicaraguan youth movement against Ortega. I also edit academic and creative work, design costumes and fabric installations, and make a mean pasta. I love to get to know new people. If you do too, please reach out!
