Managing Interiors Technology group within GETC -India, which drives and supports the development and innovation of various Aircraft Interiors products and methods from the feasibility study through to a prototype development. Responsibilities includes Identifying, propose and driving technology projects to mature it to TRL 6 with a yearly budget of ~$750 K. Facilitated strategic meetings with leadership team to drive and build “Technology and Product\" Roadmaps for Interiors. Spearheaded a cross functional team to develop \"Air Ionizer\" prototype. An Innovative technology targets airborne particles, including certain odors, viruses, and bacteria to help clean Aircraft Cabin air. Pioneered in establishing a Data Science team in GETC-Interiors, to develop Model based and Machine-Learning based Prognostics Health Maintenance models for several Electromechanical components. Incepted a novel method for inflating an emergency evacuation slide powered by electric motor. The proposed design resulted in a 40% reduced Slide pack volume and 10% lighter in weight considering B737 conventional system. Conducted a need analysis of “Structural batteries” (Multifunctional composites) for Interiors. In collaboration with research centers and suppliers to explore the maturity and usage of Solid-State Batteries, Supercapacitors and Hybrid storage systems. Authored and presented detailed technical presentations to share knowledge with company stakeholders and fellows at different high-level Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Methodology Maturity Level (MML) review meetings
