I\'m currently a Senior AI Scientist at Intuit, where I\'ve developed GenAI experiences that serve millions of MailChimp and QuickBooks customers and filed 2 patents on personalizing prompt based email content in the brand voice of our customers. It\'s a joyous experience to help customers to get new leads and market their offerings to realize their revenue goals.I\'m also passionate in sharing my learnings and experiences in this space. I host multiple live courses at Oreilly, published an open-source book on RAG, and love to collaborate and contribute wherever I can.Prior to this, I was a senior data scientist at OnSolve, where I applied state-of-the-art natural language processing (NLP) techniques to extract critical event information from live-stream text data. I have developed and deployed transformer-based NLP models that achieve high accuracy and efficiency in information retrieval and extraction.I am also a Research Associate at the University of Maryland and a Scientific Advisor at EMAlpha, where I provide technical advice on NLP and generative AI topics relevant to the financial sector. I have a strong background in physics, having obtained my Ph.D. from Emory University in 2016. My research on the cyber-physical risks of hacking in the transportation sector has been featured in multiple journals and public outlets such as BBC and Forbes. I am passionate about applying my interdisciplinary skills and knowledge to solve complex and impactful problems.
