ABOUT SKAND SHUKLA
From exploring the intricacies of business and commerce to diving deep into law and eventually finding my passion in human resources and data analytics, my career journey has been anything but conventional—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I started my academic journey with a BCom (Honours), where I honed my understanding of business, finance, and management principles. This foundation led me to pursue an LLB (Law), deepening my knowledge of legal frameworks, compliance, and ethical practices in business. But as I navigated these fields, I realized my true passion lay in understanding the human side of organizations and how data can be leveraged to drive impactful decisions. This led me to pursue a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management at Durham College, graduating with honours. Here, I gained expertise in talent management, organizational development, and compliance, but I knew the future of HR would increasingly rely on data-driven decision-making. That’s when I decided to bridge the gap between HR and analytics by enrolling in a Postgraduate Data Analytics program, also at Durham College. Today, I combine the best of both worlds—people and data. With a deep understanding of HR principles and a growing proficiency in data analysis, I’m passionate about using data to uncover insights that shape better hiring decisions, improve employee engagement, and streamline business processes. My goal is to bring a human-centered approach to analytics, where data doesn’t just inform policies but also enhances the employee experience. I’m excited about the future of HR and data integration, and I’m always open to connecting with like-minded professionals to explore how technology and human insights can build smarter, more efficient workplaces.
