Hello my name is Corey Skalmoski and I have been working in Information Systems for the past 25 years. I am a proven high performer that has been awarded a distinguished performance award over 5 times in the past 9 years.I have been a lead on several large projects including, redesigning global network for over 250 locations, creating solutions for all technology for a new $110 million corporate headquarters and leading a user migration for a $2.8 Billion healthcare company divestiture. As part of these projects I had to design, plan and direct others to execute the project on time and on budget.

   Domain Architect for REI\'s infrastructure and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Server Hosting, Networking, Database, Integrations, Devops, and SRE.• Designed and lead REI’s migration from on-premises datacenters to AWS and Azure cloud.• Architected REI’s Azure cloud implementation to support Desktop as a Server and support future Azure hosted applications.• Created reference architecture for REI’s cloud hosting to support high availability and disaster recovery to meet systems SLA’s, RPO and RTO.• Designed infrastructure for REI’s four distribution center build including network segmentation for building automation and material handling systems.• Redesigned REI’s network to remove the core from the datacenters and implement a full SDWAN network to include offices, retail store, distribution centers and cloud hosting locations.• Defined requirements and partnered with engineers to evaluate and choose a new hypervisor partner for REI’s hyperconverged hosting. • Mentored engineers and team members to support their career growth.• Participate in REI’s Architectural Review Board to review and provide guidance on architectural changes throughout the co-op.• Created REI’s Technology Roadmap for hardware and software including current lifecycle for REI supported assets. • Co-created the Retail Store startup and lifecycle cost estimates to provide leadership with an understanding of IT costs related to opening and maintaining a retail store.
