As an experienced engineering manager and technical program manager, I am comfortable in developing “from scratch” initiatives and working on large scale in-market products. I have significant new product development experience including working closely with customers, partnering with product management, product marketing, user experience design, QC, and working across teams of technology partners. I am a respected technical leader having managed high TPS cloud systems and innovative technology teams in the ML space. I am an inventor with multiple patents in the OLAP and mobile space. My leadership style is principled and focused on success for my team, and my internal and external customers. I enjoy working for a senior management team that has a strategic vision that can be translated into product development with velocity. In addition, I have a broad range of experience in core technologies like AWS EC2, NoSql and SQL databases, event streams, workflow, and languages like Rust, Java, JavaScript, C++, Python, and R.    Currently serving as Software Development Manager within Amazon\'s Weblab team. We support the A/B and adaptive comparison systems that power improvements to Amazon\'s customer experience. Our software runs on a huge number of servers and most Amazon mobile applications that support systems like checkout, product detail pages, customer service and many others.Previously served as SDM for Amazon Customer Engagement Technology. CET delivers the infrastructure that powers the ML based chat experience in Amazon Customer Service. When customers need to contact customer service, our ML based technology provides customer-to-bot conversations to simplify the experience of common customer actions such as initiating a return or identifying why a package wasn\'t received.Previously served as SDM for Amazon Advertising leading a team of engineers to build out our massively scaled audience evaluation platform. The Advertising Audiences team processes billions of signals every day from global Amazon users to create customer audience segments in real time. Our advertisers leverage these audience segments to improve the relevance of their ads and meet and exceed their advertising campaigns goals. Speed, scale, and accuracy is critical to our success, so we are constantly innovating in the areas of serverless processing and AWS high throughput technologies. Our team owns software that is core to the advertising technology stack which permits us to have broad influence over technology direction in one of the largest and fastest growing Amazon businesses.
