As Group IT Services Director I lead the strategy, roadmap, project and operational delivery of core IT services to LGC’s global user-base of 4,500 employees, who operate from 42 offices and laboratories. My global teams span Service Desk, Desktop support, Networks, Hosting, Digital Workplace, Database Management and management of integrations. The achievements of the teams I have led, include: • M365 adoption and deployment (inc Exchange, MS Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint, Azure AD, MAM, Auto Pilot) • SD-WAN (Viptella) and ZScaler migration from legacy iWAN MPLS based managed service • A number of IT integrations and divestments • Deployment of Cherwell ITSM tool, including establishing IT SLAs and service maturity process improvements • A series of technical and process enhancements to achieve Cyber certifications • Data Centre migration – centralising localised site servers to Co-lo Data Centre on Hyperconverged hardware
