ABOUT STEVE ISAACS

I’m a strategic leader with a background in strategy consulting, finance, and economics. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked across Europe, North America, and Africa, partnering with mission-driven organizations to create measurable, lasting impact through strategy, operations, relationship management, and organizational effectiveness. My work centers on shaping markets and programs to better serve societal needs — particularly at the intersection of global health, AI, and climate. I’m most comfortable taking very complex questions and environments and bringing structure and clarity: synthesizing input from many stakeholders, identifying the key insights, and communicating a clear point of view in a way that helps others see the problem — and their own thinking — more clearly.I love building strong teams, coaching and mentoring others, and creating the conditions for people to grow and do their best work, whether that’s developing new leaders, strengthening ways of working, or helping individuals clarify goals and build confidence.I also created the Impact Financing Framework (impactfinancingframework.org), an open, practitioner-oriented resource that explains and synthesizes impact financing concepts and approaches, situates them in broader context, and offers practical tools and examples to support clearer decision-making.
