I’m passionate about Mental Health Counseling because I understand the harm caused by mental stigma and want to become a resource for those who seek mental health support without fear of being judged by others. I believe that mental health and physical health are intertwined and that everyone deserves access to mental health counseling. Utilizing empathic listening and understanding are key aspects in establishing a therapeutic relationship. I have experience in working with children, adolescence, and adult populations. My approach towards treatment planning is an integrated approach, utilizing a modality of treatment that will work best for the client I am working with I have experience working on a crisis hotline and with non-profit organizations that required strong people skills and empathic understanding.
