   Work as part of a DevOps team to help integrate and support a vCMTS (virtual CMTS) which supports broadband internet service for our customers • Manage environment configuration YAML files and review code commits via GitHub • Serve as part of an on-call rotation as a tier 3 escalation point • Responsible for training the operations team on functionality and deployments • Create SMOPs for software deployments • Create change tickets and participate in deployment planning meetings to roll out component upgrades • Collaborate with developers to integrate upcoming releases with the existing platform to ensure deployments will go smoothly and correct the defects as intended • Perform system upgrades as new software is released using Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes • Monitor environment performance via Grafana and Kibana dashboards, and Prometheus alerts • Document department procedures and technical specifications as required • Skills: Linux (Ubuntu), Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, bash, basic python, software troubleshooting, network troubleshooting, application integration testing, NGINX, GitHub, Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, Rabbit/Redis, Postman, FluentD, ONOS, ONL, ofdpa and Pivotal Concourse
