About Shantanu Jakhete
Technology on its own doesn\'t win - it\'s important to balance strong tech with good business practice, sound risk management, and by keeping the user in mind at each step of the design process. I\'m formally trained as a mechanical engineer so I apply rigorous systems engineering and design practices in my work, whether it\'s in designing a business model, creating statistical analyses, or by analyzing sensitivities of complex hardware systems. During the day, you\'ll find me working on interesting problems in the national security space. At night and during my free time, I like to learn more about emerging technology, sustainability, and finance.
