WORK HISTORY
Lead CRO & Enablement @getolo
Berlin, DE
As CRO (Team) Lead, I foster an experimentation mindset at getolo by actively involving, empowering and enabling cross-functional teams in the optimization process. I established the CRO Circle — a collaborative initiative where team members from various disciplines contribute their expertise and commit to driving impactful experiments. This approach ensures experimentation is embedded across the organization and aligned with company goals from the start. As Co-Lead of the Research Guild, we help the organization streamline the use of (quantitative and qualitative) research methodologies, translate data into actionable insights and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams, ensuring insights are effectively integrated into decision-making and company goals. By combining research and experimentation, we influence product direction and deliver data-informed, user-centered outcomes that drive measurable impact. My ultimate mission is to empower the organization with a test-and-learn culture, enabling teams to test, learn and grow while creating seamless and user-centered digital experiences.

ABOUT SIYU LUO
I’m a strategic experimentation and CRO leader with 10+ years of experience helping organizations turn ideas into validated outcomes through structured experimentation. My focus goes beyond optimizing conversion — I build experimentation systems that improve how teams make decisions. By combining research, data and testing, I help organizations move from assumptions to evidence, and from isolated tests to scalable impact. I’ve led and developed CRO teams and experimentation programs, as well as built and scaled cross-functional setups such as the CRO Squad and Research Squad, bringing together marketing, product, data, UX and engineering. This includes defining ways of working, establishing shared workflows, OKRs, and team rituals, and creating a consistent experimentation framework that connects research, ideation, validation, test learning and rollout — ensuring insights are aligned with business goals and translated into impact. What I focus on:Experimentation strategy & enablement- Designing and scaling experimentation frameworks that connect ideation, validation, and rollout — making it easier for teams to test and learn effectively. Research-driven decision making- Integrating qualitative and quantitative research into the experimentation lifecycle, ensuring insights are translated into actionable hypotheses and measurable outcomes. Cross-functional alignment- Bridging marketing, product, UX, and engineering to align priorities, reduce friction, and enable smooth execution of experiments at scale. Experimentation culture & maturity- Embedding test-and-learn practices into day-to-day workflows, enabling teams to contribute ideas, share learnings, and continuously improve. How I work- Structure complex problems into clear experimentation opportunities - Prioritize high-impact tests based on research and data - Enable teams through frameworks, processes, and shared standards - Translate learnings into decisions that influence product direction and business outcomes Experience & strengths: With a background in CRO, growth experimentation and analytics, I combine: Experimentation strategy & A/B testing - Research & insight integration - Cross-functional leadership & facilitation - Experimentation operations & enablement Certified in Design Sprints and Scrum, I bring a structured yet adaptable approach to experimentation — balancing speed with statistical rigor. Let’s connect:Always happy to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss how experimentation can be scaled to improve decision-making and drive impact.
