Working for second largest Telecom provider in the world. Verizon Business provides products both wireless and wireline for Enterprise, small business and Government. Vision application is heart of Billing for 1.0 and 2.0. Process starts with requirements, test data setup and Batch execution end to end and certify the Defects and projects with in calendar cycle is a challenge, to coordinate with 20+ Dev managers, Infra, Infra DB, Cassandra and Batch teams. Day to day is challenging to achieve the task. Having 20+ team member’s combination of Mainframe, Unix, Cassandra, Kafka, fabric and DB skills. Mainframe applications modernized to newer technologies like Java, Kafka, Unix, Cassandra, zookeeper, k2view and Fabric in AWS environment. Both the applications are running parallel compares the final results. Currently the newer Billing system running with 93% accurate.
