I’ll be spending the next four months this fall in Costa Rica as a Wildlife Biology Intern at Wild Sun Rescue Center. I will be combining hands-on animal care with independent research, giving me the opportunity to contribute to wildlife rehabilitation and conservation. I’ll be assisting with daily care tasks, like diet preparation, enrichment, and enclosure maintenance, while also developing my own research project to help improve the rehabilitation and reintroduction of wildlife. I’m looking forward to gaining practical experience, strengthening my research skills, and learning from an incredible team dedicated to protecting Costa Rica’s biodiversity.
