I am a results-driven pharmaceutical R&D professional with over 19 years of experience in API development, polymorph screening, crystallization, and solid-state characterization. Currently working as a Team Lead – Novel Polymorph Screening, I focus on identifying and developing optimal solid forms of drug substances to support robust pharmaceutical product development.2. My expertise lies in designing crystallization strategies, discovering novel polymorphs, and performing advanced solid-state characterization using techniques such as PXRD, DSC, TGA, SEM-EDAX, DVS, and particle size analysis. I have successfully established polymorph screening laboratories, led multiple research programs, and supported development projects through strong scientific interpretation and data-driven decision making. Over the years, I have collaborated with global cross-functional teams across the globe to ensure effective solid-form selection and seamless technology transfer to GMP manufacturing sites. My work includes contributing to patents, invention disclosures, and technical reports, while ensuring alignment with regulatory and quality requirements. Beyond technical contributions, I enjoy mentoring scientists, building high-performing teams, and solving complex solid-state challenges in pharmaceutical development. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Engineering Chemistry to further deepen my expertise in this field.7.
