Current: I am a financial planner based in Chennai.I hold a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER CM professional license issued by Financial Planning and Standards Board (FPSB) Limited.I have passed the CFA Level 3 exams (conducted in Aug 2025) and am yet to apply for the charter.I advise my clients on all aspects of personal finance including retirement planning, education planning for kids, planning for any short-term/long-term goals, insurance needs, tax planning and more.I follow an investor-centric approach (not product-centric). I pride myself in creating a solid financial plan suited to the customer\'s needs and then fitting appropriate products to meet these needs. I am focused on creating goal-oriented portfolios with projections and numbers that will give my client a clear idea of his/her financial future.Past:I worked as a software engineer with Amazon Web Services from 20••••18. Most recently, I have primarily been involved in front-end development. I have worked on the UI (Angular-based) for a bunch of AWS services namely Kinesis, Kinesis Firehose, Kinesis Analytics, Snowball, Glacier and S3. Prior to that I was working on backend services (Java-based) supporting a bunch of experimental features for Silk which is Amazon\'s own browser on the Kindle Fire.I resigned from my job at Amazon Web Services in December 2018 and chose to move back permanently from US to India in January 2019 to be closer to my parents and spend quality time with them.
