About Sirisha Bhamidipati

Transformation Consultant | Strategic | Achiever | Resilient | Perseverant |Continuous Learner | Empathetic - is how I would describe myself. I started my career as a banker. It was just around the time when Credit cards were issued for customers with any other banking relationship (initial days of cross selling). I performed extremely well, achieved 150% of my target and was given a free trip to Phuket. My heart was with consulting so soon I moved to join the business consulting team at Cognizant, that was just being setup. Initial days included doing a lot of pre sales and business analysis that gave me domain and technology depth to lead consulting teams for client engagements. One such consulting deal we won for Cognizant led to a pilot project with 60 people and I was asked to project manage for 6 months because of my understanding of the customer’s business. IN six months, we grew the business from 60- 600; a part of a vertical to 3 verticals in the client business and I moved from a project manager to a program manager. After transitioning one of the largest accounts for Cognizant, I moved back to consulting winning a lot of marquee clients for Cognizant. I have had fantastic mentors and coaches along the way who not only guided me on career but also reinforced the need for continuous learning and upskilling to stay future relevant. Till date I periodically take time to step back and upskill myself. Around 2014, came an opportunity for a few of us to move to the learning and development in to bring an outside in perspective and revamp to create greater business impact- People always fascinated me because they could make or break a business – after all, after the real capital (money), human capital matters the most. So I moved there and did some fantastic work- which got me both the Fulbright Scholarship as well as Training Magazine recognition as a global top 20 training leaders. The Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon got me to work extensively on organization structuring and building organization culture to drive 10X growth. After getting back to India and working on a few projects, I decided to start off on my own driving organization structuring and culture building in mid sized / growth stage companies contributing to at least 4X business growth. My personal life story is all about rebounding and rewiring which helped me hone resilience, grit and never giving up. The doctors gave up on me when I was 13 and was suddenly paralysed neck down but here I am beating all odds. You can reach me at m••••••••@gmail.com
