About Sirena Lovato
I am a senior at Duke University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with minors in Statistics and Chemistry. As a B.N Duke Scholar, I have received a full merit scholarship and access to a network of mentors and opportunities. I am passionate about environmental and sustainability consulting, and I have obtained multiple certifications from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) on reporting with the GRI Standards, reporting on human rights, and integrating the SDGs into sustainability reporting. I have also conducted groundbreaking research in the field of drug resistance at the Katherine J. Franz Lab, where I pioneered the development and utilization of a novel fluorophore for beta-lactamase testing. My career plan is to assist organizations in making a lasting impact and fostering a more sustainable future. I am committed to driving positive change in the corporate world. With a solid foundation in statistics and chemistry, I am adept at conducting data analysis, developing strategies, and implementing initiatives that optimize environmental performance. By providing sustainable solutions and leveraging my multidisciplinary knowledge, I strive to assist organizations in making a lasting impact and fostering a more sustainable future.
