ABOUT SIRENA CASTILLO
I am Manatt\'s Director of Pro Bono and also a litigation partner in the investigations and white collar defense practice.As Manatt’s Director of Pro Bono, I oversee the firm\'s pro bono matters and develop the firm’s pro bono and community partnerships nationwide. I also maintain an active docket of pro bono cases. My work has included leading a pro bono team representing a class of abused, abandoned or neglected children in California seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) protections, and representing asylees before USCIS and in Immigration Court. In my litigation practice, I specialize in conducting large scale internal investigations, with a focus on representing foreign entities navigating inquiries from the U.S. government. My experience includes representing a wide variety of clients in state and federal courts—including clients in healthcare, banking and insurance—and defending False Claims Act actions, nationwide consumer class actions, complex contract disputes and unfair competition actions.
