As Director of the Neuroscience Service Line for Community Health System, I lead efforts to stabilize, optimize, and grow one of the region’s most vital clinical programs. My work spans the entire health system—including Clovis Community Medical Center, Community Regional Medical Center, Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital, and affiliated physician groups—ensuring alignment in access, affordability, quality, and operational performance for patients requiring neurological care.Key focus areas include:Developing and executing strategy to strengthen and expand the Neuroscience service line, including comprehensive stroke, spine, epilepsy, and neurocritical care services.Serving as a central operational liaison for neurohospitalists, intensivists, and supporting teams to address performance and care coordination challenges.Advancing a data-driven performance agenda that brings transparency to contribution margins, clinical quality metrics, throughput, and resource use across the continuum.Partnering with physicians, executives, and frontline teams to streamline workflows, optimize utilization, and promote sustainable growth across all campuses.Driving operational improvements that enhance physician engagement, team alignment, and patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment.This leadership role contributes directly to Community Health System’s mission as a not-for-profit safety-net provider and academic partner to the UCSF School of Medicine, delivering complex neurological care across California’s Central Valley.
