ABOUT SIOBHAN FLYNN

With over twenty-five years’ experience in economic development, I operated at a management level for over fifteen years, across three different Local Authorities and seven years at a sub-regional level working for the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership.I have broad experience project and programme development, design and implementation alongside strategy and policy formation. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the public sector, and interpreting government policy within an economic development context. Recent work includes the drafting of UK Shared Prosperity Investment Plans and Evidence cases for Skills and Innovation interventions in relation to Freeport developments.I am competent at effecting change with internal and external stakeholders and am experienced in resource management. I am adept at delivering high quality services within an accountable and corporate setting. I am driven to achieve high quality initiatives, recognising their capacity to facilitate inclusive economic growth and prosperity. I am proficient at working collaboratively and in partnership working with stakeholders and clients in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Since January 2022, I have been working as an independent economic development and regeneration consultant, enabling me to combine my love of travelling with fixed-term contracts.
