Home Instead are a care provider like no other, where companionship comes first and tasks are second, we will come to you or your loved ones home at the time you arrange and not just when we can for you in like so many other providers. We provide a small team of carers, so that you or your loved one always knows the person and can build a lasting friendship and bond. Our calls are no less than an hour, as we believe care cannot be delivered adequately when it’s rushed.Did you know that Home Instead can provide just championship visits too? Home Instead are also specialists in dementia and understand the complexity, therefore enabling Care Professionals to deliver better care for you or your loved one. Community engagementMy role simply is serving our community. May that be giving educational talks on dementia, scam awareness or nutrition. I work with local charities and organisations to enhance the lives of those living within our communities.I organise and attend events and fundraisers throughout the year, everything from client events to events that will benefit the wider community, such as singing for the Brain, memory cafes.I have recently partnered with ARUK and Dementia friends to support a large supermarket by training staff and managers to become a dementia friendly organisation. My role is varied, fulfilling and enjoyable.
