Hey there! I\'m Siobhan, founder of Avaia Talent (a recruitment partner for healthcare providers and professionals), I own a very quirky 1984 camper van and I believe most hiring processes could benefit from less panic and more planning.Over the past decade, I’ve recruited across the Canadian, UK, US, and European markets, working with high-pressure teams, cross-border candidates, and complex hiring environments. I’ve supported startups, scaled companies, and healthcare facilities through growth, change, and key hiring moments, advising on structure, process, sourcing, and the real human nuances of hiring well.What sets me apart is how I work: intentional, honest, and human - not words you expect in the agency recruitment world, I know! I care about context, what makes a role sustainable, what helps a candidate succeed beyond just a signed offer, and what makes a team work long-term. I ask the questions others overlook, explore the outright crazy ideas, and I take pride in the details that don’t show up on paper.Today, I lead Avaia Talent, a boutique recruitment partner supporting permanent and fixed-term hiring across healthcare.
