ABOUT DAVE SINCLAIR

My training career started in the Distribution sector of the channel for E92 Plus who assisted now best of breed key vendors including ISS, NetScreen and Trendmicro come to market in the UK. I was the first UK trainer for the NetScreen ScreenOS firewall, NetScreen IDP (previously Onesecure), remote client now Pulse and global protect products which evolved into NSM. I joined Equip Technology where I helped build and grow their training center offering authorized training courses to the channel. This brought me in contact with Bluecoat where again I gained trainer accreditation. The partners of Equip sold and I found my footing in the freelance world running a successful business providing training and consultancy services for NetScreen/Juniper directly, Distribution and Resellers. My primary product focus was Palo Alto, Juniper JunOS/ScreenOS and Bluecoat. Working in Distribution I have a clear understanding of the IT Security channel, bringing products to market, Presales and public speaking. The beauty of working in distribution is you are largely involved with the complete security lifecycle. I have exhibited products at InfoSec in the UK many times and have a passion for Intrusion Prevention. I have written numerous courseware including an ethical hacking course and workshop. I hold certification in Palo Alto, Juniper JunOS, NetScreen ScreenOS, ISS, Trendmicro, Cisco and Fortinet.
