I am responsible for conducting site surveys and make design proposals which is cost effective and fit for the purpose, produce/review design deliverables including SLDs, HV/LV cable calc including ELI and S/C rating check, protection settings for motor/line feeder, motor control schematic design, switchgear/control panel schematic modifications, control cable interconnections, cable routing/earthing/lighting design & drawings, cable schedule, MTO, SoW and complete work pack for the brownfield modifications of Degassing stations, well heads and Cluster pumping stations in the Rumaila oil field. This includes VFD replacement, addition of new chemical injection skids, metering skids, installation of dual frequency technology on dehydrator and desalter vessels, adding new pump motors and designing its control etc. I have gained experience in various manufactures HV/LV switchboards and its protection & control circuits (ABB, Schneider, AREVA, Al-Ahleia etc), selection of interposing relays, control circuit design, MCCBs and trip unit selection and settings for O/L and S/C protection. I have helped department for revising design standard, specifications & installation standards.I was responsible for the design of complete outdoor lighting at 6 Nos Degassing stations and 5 Nos CPS stations using ChalmLite lighting software by plotting existing and new lighting, producing complete design deliverables including calculations, drawings, MTO, SoW, technical bid evaluation and vendor drawings review. I have also done lightning protection design as per IEC 62305 for tanks, as-building of key documents such as SLDs, Switchgear room/substation layout and Load List.
