IaC, VCS, CI/CD, and Hyperscalers may have been foreign concepts to me a decade ago, but today, they are my essential tools in any modern IT landscape. I never would have believed that in such a short period of time, I would have the opportunity to experience such a wide range of industries, technologies, and people. It is truly astounding how quickly society has embraced technology and integrated it into our daily lives. I remember a time when people would physically visit libraries to borrow books for presentations, or when we would rent VHS tapes and later DVDs for the weekend. Now, everything is available at the click of a button, all thanks to the \"cloud\".As for where this journey is headed, no one can be certain. But I do know that I want to continue to play a significant role in shaping this change, and to inspire as many of my colleagues as possible to join me in the IT industry for the long term.
