My area of interest lies in the application of machine learning, deep learning, big data, and visualization to develop data-driven solutions for various business problems. I graduated with a Masters in Data Science form Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, Indiana University. I have around 3 years of experience working for an analytics company where I collaborated with the brand and marketing teams of a Fortune 50 US Pharmaceutical Company to work on multiple projects like prediction modeling, hypothesis testing (A/B testing), sales forecasting in the US Healthcare domain. I have worked on datasets like Symphony, IMS, Optum, etc. I have also worked as a Data Science Intern at Syapse - a San Francisco based start-up in the healthcare space. At Syapse, I was part of the Data Science team which worked on extracting relevant entities from Pathology reports which were written in free-flowing English. We attained an accuracy of ~90% in the extractions that we performed.
