About Aniruddh Singh

Hi, I\'m Aniruddh, and I\'m passionate about leveraging strategic and financial acumen to help companies take strategic business decisions, eventually creating a meaningful impact at a global scale. Currently, I\'m pursuing my MBA (major in Finance) at Kellogg School of Management. Formerly, I was the Director of Online Growth at Lenskart, Asia\'s largest consumer eyewear group.The focus of my role is to drive online revenue for our portfolio brands in a post-merger setup. I also lead multicultural teams and collaborate with CXOs across the board. I enjoy having a panoramic view of the intricate workings involved in building successful global D2C companies. I have had an incredible run as a technology entrepreneur. But, my interest in technology was awakened during my undergraduate years at IIT Bombay. I was inspired by the success stories of IIT alumni turned entrepreneurs and tech leaders like Sundar Pichai and Ajay Banga. Looking at their journey I decided to embark on my own. At one point in life, I was facing problems with my own finances, and so to tackle my personal money concerns, I co-founded a fintech startup: goDutch. We scaled to 3M users and raised $2M from YCombinator, Matrix Partners, the CEO of Tinder and Twitch, and GFC who were early investors in Facebook. In 2020 Google awarded goDutch Google Play’s Best of 2020 App award! I feel truly fortunate to have experienced the end-to-end journey of building a startup - from starting up out of a Starbucks to getting funded by YC to having a multi-million user base. Beyond the professional world, I enjoy helping young entrepreneurs with resources and connections in the ecosystem, paying forward the support I\'ve received.
