ABOUT YASHEE SINGH

My role in Digital Humanities enables me to unravel complex narratives, turning texts into data-rich insights. As a Research Assistant on the DFG-funded COMUTE project at Freie Universität Berlin, I work with multilingual corpora, processing them through XML/TEI to support the development of advanced collation algorithms. My master\'s thesis on colonialism and digital colonialism in Indian literature reflects my commitment to studying the intersection of history, culture, and technology. My research areas span Oral History, Folklore, and Literature preservation, as I believe stories are powerful mediums for preserving knowledge. Every untold chapter of orally shared history is a treasure waiting to be uncovered. As a writer and storyteller, I aim to bring new perspectives to light and narrate untold tales that shape our understanding of the past and future.
