I focus on improving how work flows across teams as the business scales, particularly across Product, Technology, & Operations. This includes shaping operating models, execution rhythms, and decision frameworks that help teams stay aligned, focused, and effective as complexity increases.A significant part of the role involves strengthening the systems that sit between strategy and day-to-day execution. This spans business processes, reporting and governance, and AI enablement designed to support better judgment, learning, and decision-making across teams, rather than isolated automation or tooling.Alongside structural work, I spend time building the people infrastructure that supports performance. This includes career frameworks, learning systems, and shared ways of working that help teams develop confidence, judgment, and capability over time.Recent work includes- leading an AI enablement initiative focused on embedding AI into everyday planning, analysis, learning, and communication workflows- creating practical guidance, prompts, and learning sessions that helped teams adopt AI tools responsibly and effectively in their day-to-day work- simplifying change and delivery processes to reduce friction and make it easier for teams to focus on meaningful work- designing a career framework for Operations, establishing clear role expectations, progression paths, and more consistent development conversations- establishing an OKR and reporting cadence that leadership now uses as a primary input into monthly planning, prioritisation, and trade-off discussions- creating space for peer-led learning and capability sharing across teams- mentoring and coaching team members on role clarity, problem-solving, and cross-functional impactThis reduced ambiguity for teams and gave leaders a clearer view of progress and priorities. It also helped normalise AI as a practical thinking and capability-building tool. When capability grows, results follow, and outcomes improve.

ABOUT SING CHEN

Work is changing in ways that most organisations are still trying to make sense of.AI, shifting skills, evolving expectations of leadership, and increasing complexity are colliding inside systems that were not designed for this pace of change.🧩 Much of my work sits in that space. I focus on understanding how strategy, execution, and capability interact as work evolves, and what helps people and organisations adapt without adding friction or noise. My experience spans product, engineering, operations, enablement, and global delivery environments. Over time, I have spent a significant portion of my career building and evolving operating models. That includes how decisions are made, how work flows across teams, how progress is measured, and how leaders stay connected to real outcomes. Increasingly, this work involves understanding how AI can support better judgment, learning, and execution rather than overwhelm systems or people.I also maintain a broader view of the global and macro trends shaping how work is changing. That perspective informs how I think about systems, ways of working, and the conditions teams need in order to operate with clarity and confidence. In practice, my experience includes- shaping operating models, execution rhythms, and governance that scale without losing human context- embedding OKRs and reporting approaches that improve focus and decision quality- simplifying change and delivery processes so teams can spend more time on meaningful work- building people systems that support learning, clarity, and accountability Alongside this, a consistent part of my work has been teaching and capability building. From AI education and future skills development to mentoring teams on problem-solving and systems thinking, I care about translating insight into practical tools people can apply immediately.I care deeply about how change feels to the people living it, not just how it looks on a plan.Clarity builds confidence. Capability growth multiplies outcomes.
