ABOUT SINEAD ODONNELL

An award winning, dynamic and creative Account Director with Wilson Hartnell, part of the Ogillvy network. I provide strategic communications advice and support to many leading Irish and international brands. I have over ten years’ experience working as a reporter and video journalist, predominantly at a senior level, with some of the country’s most respected and influential media organisations, including Newstalk, Virgin Media (formerly TV3), Today FM and The Sunday Times. I have a proven track record devising and implementing successful communication strategies for clients; ensuring they tell their stories better to media and their key audiences. I have a deep understanding and knowledge of the media landscape and extensive media contacts, having worked in newsrooms in nationwide, including KFM, Ocean FM, Western People and iRadio. My technical skills have proven hugely beneficial to clients; as I can produce high quality videos, podcasts, radio scripts and eye-catching press releases. In 2016, a campaign I devised and implemented for the National Standards Authority of Ireland was named ‘Best Public Sector Campaign’ at the Excellence in Public Relations Awards. I am an accomplished public speaker and regularly contribute to many national radio and TV programmes. I also have experience public speaking at events and MC on many occasions.
