As a member of CIPD’s Leadership Team, I represent the expertise and opportunities of Partnerships to shape CIPD’s content, brand, commercial, and outreach strategies. My work influences key stakeholders and amplifies the voice and impact of both CIPD and the profession.Event StrategyI lead the development of CIPD’s event strategy, optimising our offering from local to international events, aligning with broader organisational goals and evolving customer needs.Event Delivery and Pivoting FormatsI launched the Festival of Work in 2019 and pivoted it to an online format during COVID-19 with just two months’ notice, marking CIPD’s first large-scale online event. It delivered exceptional Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and set a new benchmark for our digital events. Post-pandemic, I reinvented the event’s product proposition and model to adapt to changing customer and commercial needs, ensuring continued relevance.Developing Magazine StrategyI led the transition of CIPD’s magazines from a print-first to a multichannel approach, increasing customer value, expanding content formats, and reducing CIPD’s carbon footprint.Driving CommercialsI am responsible for generating over £15 million in annual revenue from partners, driving commercial value through strategic partnerships and high-quality events and content.Supporting Membership PropositionI oversee two of CIPD’s most valued membership benefits, continually enhancing the experience to meet the evolving needs of our community.Leadership AchievementsI manage a team with outstanding engagement scores, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.
