I am passionate about developing therapies for rare neurologic diseases.Background: MD, Neurologist and neuromuscular disorders specialist, Master of Science in clinical trial design and statistical analysis. Executive Medical Director, Neuroscience Clinical Development. Experienced in the design, oversight and strategic execution of late phase trials, with successful IND and BLA/NDA filing and label negotiation experience (Imaavy). Leader of cross-functional matrix teams, oversight of vendors and trial operations including medical, safety, data quality monitoring and rater training, responsible for scientific insight into study designs and disease area strategy, protocol development, Investigator’s Brochures, annual regulatory reporting, clinical study reports. SME in genetic and autoimmune neuromuscular disorders. Research and clinical expertise in pediatric and adult Duchenne, SMA, Muscular Dystrophy, ALS, CMT, myasthenia gravis, myositis, CIDP, MGUS neuropathy and paraneoplastic neuromuscular disorders. Previously Director of MDA Care Center and CMT Center of Excellence, with experience as PI on investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials.
