Working on audio functionalities in Microsoft Teams.• Designed and developed MS Teams Spatial Audio functionality; opt-in immersive audio experience for conference call settings used by ~10M users per day. Collaborated with the Microsoft Research team to implement spatializer and embed it to Teams.• Designed and developed a proof-of-concept to perform Live Transcription on client machines using Azure AI Speech containers. Reduced CPU consumption by 10% on Azure servers.• Designed and implemented MS Team’s Music Mode audio setting which sends high quality audio for music, studio and podcast scenarios. We have ~100K daily users using this.• Developed End to End Encryption (E2EE) for Teams Meetings as part of the Teams Premium add-on license. This blocks other MSFT services from accessing users’ media content. This enhanced MS Teams’ security and privacy offering providing an edge over other competitors.
