About Sina Vahid
Hello, my name is Sina Vahid and I am a senior power electronics engineer with a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. I have worked on various projects ranging from renewable energy systems, electric vehicles and welding power sources.In addition to my industry experience, I am also an adjunct assistant professor at a Marquette University, where I teach courses on power electronics and renewable energy sources. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with the next generation of engineers.Currently, I am working on designing state-of-the-art industrial welding machines for Miller Electric, Mfg. LLC. My role involves developing innovative solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs. I thrive in finding solutions for dynamic and challenging systems, and I am always looking for ways to push the boundaries of technology.My strong background in power electronics, combined with my research experience, has enabled me to excel in my career and contribute to the advancement of the industry.I also volunteer for as the current vice chair for Milwaukee section, and the past chapter chair for magnetics chapter of Milwaukee section, as well as topic chair for ECCE conference. As the chapter chair I hold regular talks in magnetics topics in Milwaukee that are open to the public.I am always open to connecting with like-minded professionals!
