ABOUT SINA SEYEDIBAVILOLYAEI
I’m a researcher in semiconductor process simulation with the MTSD unit at FBK’s Center for Sensors & Devices, pursuing a PhD at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (UNIBZ). My work centers on ion implantation and post-implantation annealing, modeling defect dynamics and dopant activation—especially for wide-bandgap semiconductors (e.g, SiC)—to translate physics into process windows and reliability insights.I combine atomistic/mesoscale simulation (MD/LAMMPS), FEA/FEM (COMSOL), and Python/MATLAB analysis, informed by hands-on CAD and prior materials research. Previously, I completed an M.Sc. in Nanotechnology Engineering (Sapienza) with thesis work at TU Dresden, presenting at international materials events, and earning a merit-based scholarship. I enjoy collaborative, cross-disciplinary projects that link simulation with characterization to guide device performance.
