As Outreach Director for Hack The Skies, I play a key role in driving public engagement and ensuring the logistical success of this high school hackathon. My responsibilities include:Venue Acquisition and Partnership Development: Spearheading efforts to identify, evaluate, and secure event spaces while establishing strong relationships with sponsors, mentors, judges, and other stakeholders. This ensures alignment with the hackathon’s mission and fosters long-term partnerships to support its growth.External Communications Management: Serving as the primary point of contact for participants, mentors, judges, sponsors, and partners, I design and execute communication strategies to ensure clear, consistent, and engaging interactions. This includes managing email campaigns, social media outreach, and direct communications to maintain seamless stakeholder engagement.Sponsorship and Stakeholder Relations: Maintaining and nurturing connections with sponsors and partners by aligning their goals with the event’s objectives. I work collaboratively to deliver value through strategic collaboration, ensuring their continued support and satisfaction.Event Promotion and Participant Engagement: Leading promotional efforts to increase event participation and expand the hackathon’s reach. By leveraging creative marketing strategies and fostering community engagement, I contribute to creating an impactful and memorable experience for all attendees.
