ABOUT SIMREN CHANDAN

Currently I am working at Codeweavers as a Frontend software developer. I have trained with the school of code to become a full stack developer where I have learned many new skills, some of which are html, CSS, JavaScript, Node JS, Postgres, express, React JS, as well as soft skills such as team work and working through an agile process. I have experience in Hospitals and providing care for those who require it. I currently hold my BSc (Hons) Degree in Biomedical science. I have gained experience of working within a pathology laboratory setting at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. My role involves to provide care for patients through diagnosis and treatment of disease. My skills include working in a specialist testing laboratory where I have hands on experience performing assays such as urine catecholamines, plasma mets, thiopurine metabolites which are performed using 6500 LCMS-MS mass spectrometry. I also have experience working in automated chemistry processing urgent ward work and GP work using Abbott architects and alinity analysers, monitoring and testing quality control and quality assurance of all reagents and samples as well as EQA.
