As a Robotics Engineer Intern at the ONEHeart Project, I am contributing to the development of innovative technologies aimed at automating aircraft refueling systems. This role involves tackling complex engineering challenges to create cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency and safety in aviation. Key Responsibilities- Algorithm Development: Designing and implementing advanced robotics algorithms to synchronize multiple robotic systems for precise and coordinated operations- Sensor Integration: Developing and integrating sensor packages to enhance system precision, reliability, and safety during the refueling process- System Optimization: Collaborating with the team to refine system reliability and efficiency, addressing challenges unique to autonomous refueling operations- Testing and Validation: Conducting rigorous testing and performance validation of the robotics system under diverse operational scenarios- Team Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, researchers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and innovation within the project.
