Supporting the HR Business Partner with investigations and working through to resolutions- Providing a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees and leaders thatcovers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, disputes, and all other employee-relations matters-Maintaining compliance records and follow up on leave of absences-Advising the operations team on HR practices and policy interpretation-Assisting the Operations team with disciplinary matters and corrective action-Assisting the HR Business Partner with all internal and external HR-related matters-Recommending and developing employee relations practices to foster a strong employee experience-Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of current legislation relating to employment law, WSIB, Labour Relations Act, Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code to ensure regulatory compliance-Ensuring legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable employment laws and requirements-Assisting any employee requests for verification letters, status change, request of contact, job abandonment, accommodation, promotion, jury duty and resignation letters etc-Managing internal employee changes by preparing documentation, processing staff movement forms from the HR inbox, and obtaining required approvals from leadership-Drafting disciplinary letters based on inputs received by HR Business Partner and the H&S team-Assisting in the communication and interpretation of updated legislative requirementsrelated to the Global Policy and Procedures-Supporting Operations with the annual review of Divisional Specific Policies and Procedures-Creating and delivering customize reports to support the HR Business Partner and Operational Leaders in the decision-making process
