Experienced Associate Professor with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education institutes. Dr. Simranjit Singh name was included in the top 2% most cited scientists in the world released by Stanford University and Scopus. Skilled in Teaching, Research, team leadership with a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD focused in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. He is Raman fellow of UGC, Govt. of India and Host Scientist of FICCI, Govt. of India. He did his Postdoc in University of Rochester, NY, USA. As PI he has completed 4 research projects worth Rs. 2 Crore and one is ongoing. He and his group have published more than 60 research papers in reputed SCI Journals. He has guided 5 PhD candidates and 6 are under-guidance. From his research group one patent has been published. As a volunteer, he is serving Delhi Section as EXCOM member, Photonics Society Rajasthan Chapter as Secretary, Chandigarh Subsection as EXCOM member and Prakash Bharati as an EXCOM member. Recently, he was elected as Fellow IETE. In addition to research, teaching and administrative work, he has organised several workshops/STC/FDP like AICTE ATAL FDP, SERB Karyashala, FDPs etc. and conferences sponsored by and ASCE. As Coordinator of Entrepreneurship and Incubation cell with the team he has framed EIC policies and organised E-Sumits and entrepreneurial activities.
