I have always been fascinated by the power of data and how it can shape decisions and drive success. My journey began at The University of Winnipeg, where I pursued a degree in Applied Computer Science. During my studies, I immersed myself in various projects that allowed me to explore my passion for web development and database management. I loved designing user-friendly interfaces while ensuring the back-end systems were robust and efficient.Currently, I’m working as an AI Trainer at Outlier, where I get to combine my analytical skills with my love for technology. This role is where I evaluate and provide detailed feedback on code to help train AI models. This role has allowed me to deepen my understanding of machine learning systems and contribute to the development of smarter, more efficient AI solutions Before this position, I honed my leadership and customer service skills as a Store Supervisor at Shawarma Khan. Managing a team taught me invaluable lessons about collaboration and communication—skills that are just as crucial in tech as they are in retail. During my time there, I implemented processes that improved efficiency by 20%, showing how even small changes can lead to significant impacts.One of my proudest achievements was developing MediTrack, a Java-based hospital management application designed to streamline patient medical records. By combining an intuitive user interface with robust backend systems, I created a tool that improved user engagement by 30% and demonstrated the real-world impact of effective data management. I\'m also passionate about continuous learning; whether it\'s picking up new programming languages like Python or exploring the latest trends in web development.Outside of work and school, I enjoy volunteering at local tech meetups where I share knowledge about coding best practices with others.
