About Simran Advani
Detail-oriented and committed HR professional with a get-it-done spirit, I have a year of voluntary as well as paid experience in talent acquisition, management and employee engagement with a proven track-record of efficiency in workplace environments that are fast-paced and challenging. As Senior HR Officer at Times Internet Ad Sales and MX Player, I have been primarily responsible for driving the talent management cycle, employee engagement and retention charter along with providing support across the employee life-cycle. At MX Player, our biggest achievement has been the successful launch of 20 shows and over hours of free premium content for Indian millenials in February 2019 on the MX Player app (available on Android and iOS) that has a market-reach of 500 billion users. Prior to working with MX Player, I have interned with Times Internet Limited which is the platform for the fastest-growing web/ mobile-based networks in India. My role encompassed providing support with the HR life-cycle process, preparing HR-related reports and assisting with employee queries. I have a Bachelor’s in Commerce (specialisation: Financial Markets) securing an ‘O’ grade in all 6 semesters of my undergraduate degree and 18 months of voluntary experience with AIESEC (International Association of Students in Economic and Commercial Sciences) including a brief stint as Vice-President of Talent management, Mumbai Local Chapter (LC) for the first two quarters of 2018.
