As part of being a Student Representative for the BPSA I help to organise and plan conferences including the Autumn Eastern Area Conference on Pharmacogenomics and the upcoming Spring and Annual BPSA conferences. I contribute to event planning, developing delegate resources like handbooks, creating social media content to promote conferences and prepare panel questions for speakers. This experience has helped me strengthen my skills in project management, teamwork, communication and leadership.

ABOUT SIMRAN KOTECHA
Second year Pharmacy student with a strong interest in medicines, patient care, and holistic healthcare. My passion for the field began through hands-on experience in a community pharmacy, where I saw how impactful a pharmacist can be in everyday healthcare. Speaking with patients and supporting their journeys not only strengthened my communication and team work skills but sparked an interest in the clinical side of pharmacy I am looking forward to exploring different pathways through placements and practical experiences - both within and beyond my degree.
