My role includes:Advising clients on income tax structuring, deductions, and compliance strategies;Handling tax assessments, reassessment proceedings, and representing clients before various income tax authorities;Drafting legal submissions, responses to notices, and appearing in matters involving scrutiny or appealsAssisting startups and corporates with entity structuring, tax planning, and compliance across Income Tax and GST;Collaborating on litigation strategy, briefing senior counsel, and preparing legal drafts for appeals;Working closely with our internal teams and clients to ensure seamless execution of tax advisory mandates;My background in corporate law and in-house legal experience also enables me to advise clients on contractual, transactional, and regulatory overlaps between business operations and tax frameworks.
