ABOUT SIMRAN JACKSON

I love to solve technical problems with data and Python, it\'s what I do best and I have a lot of fun doing it, so I\'m very lucky to be a Data Scientist. So far I\'ve solved problems in retail, music streaming and green tech. Now, I want to move towards the financial space: I hear there are some fascinating datasets there.My favourite places to work have been in collaborative teams who want to see each other succeed and go out into the wider business to find problems and solve them. This is what I look for in role however, bespoke tailors who need a data person please feel free to get in touch. Will work for suits. I was lucky enough to discover a love for data during my Master of Physics. In the years since then, I\'ve had roles all over the data space having a lot of fun building things to solve all kinds of business problems. There are two reasons I enjoy it so much: I get the chance to engage with people from all parts of a business and find out how I can build something which will make their lives easier and contribute to their bottom line. I also get to spend most of my time deep in the most technical problems, up to my elbows in Python. When I get a spare moment I study financial instruments and get some use out of my Physics degree by trying to code an orbital mechanics simulator. I have also been known to paint, dance, and play the piano.
